DJFL Weddings
diverse music for unique crowds
As you’ve seen above, I play an unusually wide range of shows. Sure, DJs all play some wedding staples, but every couple is unique, and so is every dancefloor. You know your crowd, and if you want to add unique music, that’s great! At the Acosta wedding, we did a mix of Chicago house and Norteño. For two “recovering Goths,” it was new wave and industrial. Two writers wanted chillwave and Twin Peaks for cocktails and dinner. Another couple had Indian guests, and I played four hours of Bollywood and bhangra! And memorably, one bride came to me and said, “Play every jam about (ahem) pleasing women that you have!” I did, and the dancefloor went nuts! Check out my testimonials for more rave reviews!
Superior mic skills
You want a DJ who can introduce guests and make announcements smoothly. I have years of radio experience, and I currently host Shelter at Sea Saturdays on Yacht Rock Miami. Moreover, I have over twenty years of experience teaching college English. As one bartender said, “Wow! You are by FAR the least obnoxious DJ on the mic that I’ve heard!” You want someone who can be smooth during toasts and upbeat during dancing, without sounding like a six year-old on a Halloween bender! Tambien, hablo español!
flexible with requests and mixes
When I’m playing a bar or a club, requests are annoying. At most weddings, they’re a big part of the job. First, your guests are an odd mix of ages and social groups–they get excited, and they want to hear songs that are ALL OVER THE PLACE musically. In the hands of inexperienced “wedding DJs” (please don’t call me that), this sounds like a playlist from hell. Fortunately, I’m an open format DJ, and you can count on me to arrange and mix tracks in a way that sounds more “clubby” and keeps the dancefloor moving. And if you’ve told me, “NO BON JOVI, EVER, PLEASE!” then you can count on me to gracefully decline your tipsy aunt’s request. Tambien, hablo español, y si ustedes tienen huéspedes quien no hablen inglés, no hay ninguna problema! Contact DJ Fuzzy Logic®, and let’s develop a plan that works for you!

Even better, it helps that I am an actual DJ who, ya know, actually mixes, not some guy who got a playlist from a wedding company and just presses PLAY. Check out my mixes next time you’re in the car or working out!
Affordable, a la carte pricing
Rates start at $1400 for 6 hours for weddings, quinceañeras, and bar mitzvahs if I’m not bringing speakers or lights. This includes a friendly consultation meeting (over cocktails, if you’d like!); custom crates (that’s what non-DJs call “playlists”) for dinner and dancing; emceeing, and all the music you’d like me to have. If you want people to dance, I strongly recommend lighting. It makes people feel invisible! Finally, if you love contemporary music or if you have a rowdier crowd, I recommend a subwoofer. But it’s your party, your call! Click here for rates. Questions? Contact me and let’s talk!
